American Idol 2011 News and Spoilers

Many rumours have spread across the internet over what may be happening in the forthcoming series of our beloved American Idol. On Saturday 15th 2010 it was proclaimed that season 10 would come to our screens early 2011. It was then later announced in further October that it would be as early as January. Many news reports have suggested that we may 'not recognize' the FOX show; due to there being such a change. We surfed the net, and bring to you the rumours of what this season may bring.

 First of all we see Simon Cowell leaving the show and Steven Tyler replacing him. Who, in my opinion is a great addition. We also see Jenifer Lopez still on the judge panel.

Also, say 'inabit' to the famed Top 24, which the Executive Producer, Nigel Lythgoe described it as 'boring.' Which personally, I cannot say that it is a understatement. As well to this, say no more to themes alike Rat Pack Week, after previous seasons we saw awful, out-of-genre performances that I personally still dread to think about. So instead they will choose any song from a certain decade! A joy!

There are other rumours about the contestants having to promote themselves, alike real recording artist. Having to make a few music videos should show what they're really made of. Shouldn't it?

And to add to that we will no longer see demic mentors alongside the contestants this year. Instead we will see real mentors who people don't just aspire to be alike because of who they are, but instead they will aspire to be alike because of what they are.
