The 5 Most Succesful Exclusive Video Games

 Over time we've seen many exclusive games, the great and some not so great. Whilst Microsofts Xbox features the best, Nintendo the classics, and Sonys PlayStation some cartoon unforgettables. We've been the owners of Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoots Collection, Halo, Pokemon, God Of War, Wii Sports, Wii Play and Wii resort, Mario's Collection and one of my favourites; Left 4 Dead. Anyway I'll get to it here are your 5 best exclusive video games:

On November 4, 2002, Insomniac games brought out Ratchet and Clank. An exclusive game for PS3. This 3D shooter video game looked childlike. However, many pre-teens and teenagers loved this game and now consider it to be a classic. There most recent game released was, Ratchet and & Clank Future: A Crack in Time which was released on October 27th 2009. It's had 9 games in almost 8 years, that's amazing seen as each game has almost or has exceeded 1 million sales.

Now personally, this game is boring and just simply gets old. However, worldwide people disagree with me. After only 110 weeks of release it beat Super Mario Bros record of Most ever sold video game. It now totals over 42 million and is still going up. Wii Sports comes with the Nintendo Wii Console and cannot be bought brand new from a retailer store. This game has definantley proven itself to be somehow the most sold and probably the greatest family game of all time. However my reasoning for only fourth is simply this, this game eventually becomes boring and tedious and only comes out during birthdays, christmas's and other various parties.

The Halo series is purely amazing. I loved these games. The first Halo game, Halo:Combat Envolved came onto Xbox on November 15th 2001 and from that day it became a game that would always be known as a great. Halo 2 was just as impressive, with it's great gameplay and amazing multiplayer. But then on September 25th 2008 Halo 3 was released to the public and it became - in my opinion - the best game of all time. Microsofts Xbox 360's first great exclusive game, and what a great it was, and to this day has sold more than 8.2 million copies. Halo now has many action figures and even a movie called Halo Legends. There newest game, Halo: Reach is set to release on September 14th 2010, near the same time of Halo 3. But could it be just as good?

Yes, yes, I know what you're thinking, Pokemon? Really? Well Pokemon has one of the biggest selling collections ever. With 33 games handheld and console this game also has one of the the most versions of any collection of games. First made in 1966, pokemon has been able to make itself known worldwide. Most people can say they've owned/played a pokemon game some time in their life. Their collection of games stretch over 10 of nintendos console/handheld machines. It's also gained a massive market in action figures and trading cards, several movies and has been broadcasted as a tv show with many series still carrying on today.

As Nintendo's mascot, Mario is arguably the most famous character in video game history, and his image is commonly associated with video games. Mario games, as a whole, have sold more than 210 million units, making the Mario series the best-selling video game series of all time. First known as "Mr.Video" Mario was the star in every one of Shigeru Miyamoto's games (creator of Mario.) Eventually Miyamoto saw that Mario had potential and changed his name, Mario then made his debut in 1983 with Mario Bros. Mario is just an outstanding game, almost 20 years old and counting.

And you know what this means. Don't you? Yes, well done nintendo, you've actually won something. Good for you. Nintendo wins, you don't know how much that hurt to say that. Although you have to say they deserve it.
